Active ingredient:

Chloramphenycol 0.5g

Methyl parahydroxybenzoate 0.1g

Excipient: q.s. 100g



Uses:

Chloramphenicol is a bacteriostatic antibiotic active against a wide range of pathogenic organisms including most Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria as well as certain chlamydia. It shows a good penetration of the non-inflamed eye following ophthalmic administration. It is also well tolerated.



Dosage and administration:

Dogs and cats: apply a quantity of ointment the size of a pea in the conjunctival sac of the eye twice daily. Treatment should be continued at least 48 hours after the eye appears normal.



Contra-indications, warning:

Not to be used on animals hypersentitive to chloramphenicol.

Not indicated in food-producing animals.

Do not vaccinate animals while chloramphenicol is been administered.

Active ingredients: Levamisole hydrochloride: 10 g

Excipient: q.s. 100 ml



Indications: when used at recommended dose, levamisol 10% is effective against the mature and developing immature stages of levamisole sentitive Haemonchus, Trichostrongylus, cooperia, Nematodirus, Bunostomum and Oesophagostomum species in the gastro-intestinal tract, and Dictyocaulus spp in the lungs. Levamisole belongs to imidazothiazoles. It is very safe to use, and its availability in the blood is very quick. It can be used for pregnant or milking females. Levamisole does not induce photosentitivness and studies have proven a non specific immunostimulant effect



Uses: for the treatment and control of parasitic bronchitis, parasitic gastro-enteritis in cattle, sheep and pig. Ascaridiosis.



Dosage and administration: IM, IV and Subcutaneous routes

Cattle (IM and IP routes): 7.5 ml for 100 kg bodyweight

Sheep, goats (IM route): 0.75 ml for 10 kg bodyweight

Pigs (SC route): 0.75 ml for 10 kg bodyweight

Another injection can be given 8 to 15 days after the first one, if necessary.



Contra indications and warnings: no side effects known. Should not be used simultaneously with products containing organophosphorus compounds. To be kept away from heat and light



Withdrawal time: meat and offal: 3 days; milk: 2 milkings
