Uses: a topical application for the control of lice and flies on cattle and headfly induced lesions, ticks, lice, keds and established blowfly strike on sheep. Lice and ticks on lambs. Deltamethrin is a pyrethrinoïde, powerful insecticide, known for its low toxicity and low pollutent level. Deltamethrin is lipophile. This allows an efficient migration in the superficial layer of the epiderm and protects from dilution by rain. Deltox provides a protection of 8 to 10 weeks.
Administration: External use, by dip or spray.
Indicated for: cattle, sheep, goats and pigs
Dilution rate:
Against lice and keds: 25 ml of solution for 100 litres of water
Against ticks and flies: 50 ml of solution for 100 litres of water
Against mange: 100 ml of solution for 100 litres of water, a second treatment should be given 10 days later.
If a dip is given, the solution should be topped up as soon as the level of the dip loses10%, with a preparation 1.5 times the initial dose.
Warnings: in conformity of the protection of users and environment. Do not drink, eat or smoke during the use of product. In case of contact with the eyes, rinse immediately and seek medical advice. Do not pour in rivers and ditches (dangerous for fish). Used containers should be disposed of in accordance with the laws of the country of use.
Storage: not to be stored in extremes of temperatures (not above 25ºC).
Withdrawal period:
Meat and offal: 3 days,
Milk: no withdrawal time.
Not to be used on sheep producing milk for human consumption.
